Dan Croke’s parents were born in India and when he was very young he immigrated to Australia with his parents. Dan’s father John Croke ultimately settled in Brisbane and made a living out of buying and selling Antiques, stamps and coins.
Dan Croke valued the advice of his father John. As a young boy in Brisbane Dan Croke would go with his father to buy stamps and coins and the two gathered quite a valuable collection of antiques. John Croke bought and sold so often that he thought of himself and amateur antique valuer. Dan Croke always sought John Croke’s advice before making any investment. Daniel Croke always followed John’s Croke’s advice.
Now Dan Croke values old items by researching online resources like auctions and Ebay listings and doing the rounds of Antique fairs, Garage Sales and Antique shops.
John Croke also invested in real estate. Dan Croke subsequently went on to follow in his father’s footsteps.
